A whole 2 years, we made it! It feels like Franco and I have been married forever but yet i can still remember the first time we met, the first time we kissed, and the day he told me that he loved me. There are so many things I love about him but here in no random order is 10 things that just came to me:
1. His Personality..I am big on personalities. When I met Franco he made me laugh. I laughed harder then i ever had before. He makes me smile with his quirky comments and can change the room from gloomy to sunny in an instant.
2. His Patience..Franco hates confrontation so instead he is just patient with what he calls my "nagging". I am sure sometimes I treat him more like my son then my husband but he smiles and takes it. When the timing is right he quietly reminds me that he is not "retarded" (his exact words). He is patient with the laundry i dont do all the time, the dishes he has to do, the house cleaning i wait for him to help me with, and especially with Andrew. He is just patient!
3. The way he handles me...I used to think i was a great catch for any guy. I am pretty laid back and easy going. WELL...marriage and a baby have definitely changed that. When i am in "one of my moods" his unique personality quickly comes into play and one comment I smile and forget just exactly why i was so uptight or stressed. I often say no one else could have handled me the way he can.
4. His Priesthood leadership.. I respect and love how he leads our household and dedicates himself to his calling. I have never heard him complain about going out on Sundays after church while Andrew and I am napping to go visit several families in our ward with his E.Q. Presidency. He was even excited to do service at the cannery, and looks forward to church basketball practice and games even though they loose!
5. Compassion...Franco worries about other people. He is genuinely concerned about the well-being of others before himself. I am always hearing..have you talked to so and so..how are they doing..did you check in with this person or that person. After he visits people in the ward he will come home and say how blessed we are and wants to give anything we can spare to others.
6. Love...You know that song, "I love the way you love me..." That is Franco. He just has so much love to give. He makes sure I know he loves me everyday.
7. Fatherhood...Oh i could cry when it comes to this one. Franco passionately loves his kids. When he walks in the door before he goes to the bathroom, changes clothes, etc he grabs Andrew and takes him around the house and does what ever he needs to do. He plays with Andrew and when Andrew hears the garage door he stares at the door because he knows his daddy is home to be with him. I can watch him interact with Andrew all day long..I love it! I remember the first time i saw Franco with his girls I remember thinking.."i love what kind of dad he is" and he has only gotten better. :)
8. Provider..Franco will do anything or take on as many jobs as needed to provide for us. I am so blessed to stay home with my baby and never have to worry about daycare, etc. My son has my full attention everyday all day because of Franco. He is a hard worker and gives his all to his job and the clients he has.
9. Uniqueness..anyone who knows Franco will understand this one with no explanation needed. Franco is just special..not yellow bus special but special. His outlook on life is unique. Franco says interesting things, loves to get reactions out of people..and just the way he is is unique! So if you dont know Franco you just cant appreciate his uniqueness. If you do know Franco right about now you are probably laughing to yourself as you think of "intersting" things you have heard or seen Franco do. Ohh...he keeps me entertained as my mom would say.
10. Everything!!! Everything that I am thinking in my head but cant put into a word or category. He just is who he is and I love it...granted he has habits i cant stand but i realize that that is him and he loves me for my bad habits so i will do the same. I just love him for many reasons i know and many reasons i dont know. I do know that it was meant to be that we were married. All the stars aligned up right on the day we met and I couldnt be happier. We often laugh at the interesting way we came to be in each others lifes. Franco by no means was my type and he didnt want to get married again...Well here we are two years later loving each other, life and the family we have started together.

Wow two years already time is flying by isn't it!!! So what's that part at the end about eternity, is there something that you forgot to mention.
