Longest Day Of My Life..well one of them

His head looks wierd in this pic all "goonie" like..but i promise it is normal..

Soo..we all know Andrew rolled right..well he rolls on his tummy then rolls to his back then rolls back on his tummy. He is so proud he mastered this skill. The problem is he just cant stop. First nap: I put him in his bed..typically he would talk for a second then go to sleep NOT TODAY. He rolls right over on his belly and starts to scream. I go in there roll him back to his back..two seconds later he is rolling to his tummy and this goes on for a while. He does not know how to sleep on his tummy so he just cries cause he is so tired. Finally he fell asleep when i rocked him. Phew. Afternoon nap. Same routine. This time NO LUCK. No sleeping. Bed time comes around..Typically by 7:30 he is out. Tonight NOPE. Again he doesn't sleep. tosses and turns back and forth. By 8:30 pm he crashed and was on his tummy. I think half of his nose is smashed against the mattress though :(. The problem is he has to have his face rubbed in his blankie or the blanket totally covering his face. On his tummy he cant seem to figure out how to cuddle his blankie face down. Poor kid..new challenge. I hope he gets this down. I cant go another day with no naps and late bed time. Love my handsome boy though. He is so cuddly...I love it!!

I had the same frustration when Gavin first figured out how to stand up and he would try to master that skill 24-7 so he would be up all the time crying because he would get up and didn't know how to get down yet. It won't last long, he wants to sleep as much as you do and he will find something that works for him.Hang in there! XOXO

Both my kids sleep on their tummies, just like Chad. I'm sure it will get better, like Krippy said they want to sleep just as much as you.
