Weekend Recap

So I keep having the question asked, "What did you do for your birthday?". Let me answer that question for you. Thursday night I made my own little crumb cake for breakfast Friday. We had Robann, Franco's daughter for the weekend. Friday morning I gave Franco some pieces to take to work then put the cake away and completely forgot about it. I took Robann to Wal-mart to pick out all the halloween candy and to get her new pajamas. While i was there I was thinking, hum, is there anything i want to buy myself??? The answer was no. I couldn't come up with anything I really needed or wanted. We then went home to wait for Franco who was getting off early so we could go to something fun before trick-or-treating. When Franco got home instead of doing something fun he told me he wanted to go to our local Chamber of Commerce and vote early. He told me the line wasn't too bad. Well, Andrew was sleeping so we left Robann here with him and waited in line 2 HOURS to vote. We got home in time for me to go with Jen to drop off Halloween treats to the ladies we Visit Teach. At 5 we headed to our church for the trunk or treating, then I took Andrew to some houses on our street to gather candy, then we headed to our friends house for a little Halloween party. Later that night as Andrew went to bed Franco and I went with some other couples to a local haunted house which was fun. So THAT ladies and gents is what i did for my birthday.

Franco kept asking me what i wanted so last Tuesday I told him. I said, i will tell you what i want and when if you carry out what I am telling you. My birthday wish was time, Time with Franco. Thursday I asked him to take me to a Haunted House and then I said Saturday night i wanted him to take me out to dinner and then to a movie. There i had told him now he just needed to take me, do you think it happened? Absolutely not. Franco didn't do one thing. I was so bummed. I love birthdays & i expected my husband atleast maybe write Happy Birthday on a piece of paper or something. But nothing. so this weekend was awful for me.

However, Saturday i left Andrew with Franco and took Robann to see High School Musical 3. Believe it or not I cried in the movie. Must have been my disappointment showing! hahahah i laugh but what the heck, i was crying in a Disney movie. I must be hormonal. I did enjoy the music and the movie and I will be downloading all music and will buy the movie for the girls when it comes out.

Oh well, there is always next year. I have to say thanks to my parents for the best gifts in the world. My mom got me a massage and my dad got me a Hot Rock set to do hot rock massages. Oh for those who dont know i am a massage therapist so i was way pumped about this gift!!!! Thanks mom and dad!

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little sister Jill. Today she turns 20. Scary. Jilly is #10 out of the 11 kids. That means we are all getting old....AND i found about 6 gray hairs over the weekend.

:) Have a Happy Day!

Ohh baby..I love you. I always have, and I always will. I will do a better job next year. I promise.
But, if you want to be technical, I did everything you asked.
I took you out to dinner at Juans house, and we went to free haunted house. We spent a ton of time together as voted, trick of treat, eat some good food, and got scared.
I rock, come on, say it.

Well, that bites a big one! I am sorry you had a disappointing B-day. But, at least you did get to go out and do something. Hope next year is better for you!

If you "just" found grey hairs then you are way better off than me. I saw those first gray hairs when I turned 30!

I think that we are always dreaming about the perfect things we want for ourselves. I have thoughts that I would like Jimmy to do for me and surprise me, but no it's me that plans what we do for my birthday. I think that next year we should leave the guys and go do our own fun!!! Jimmy is great though. I guess it's the little thought or attempt to try that counts, right?? I have your bday gift at my home I will bring it over, I am such a procrastinator, like you didn't know!!:)
