Happy 1st Birthday to my baby boy!!!

A year ago I really never had any idea what awaits me being a mother. I am happy to say that it has been quite a ride. Yesterday I was paying close attention to all the things Andrew does that makes me smile, here are a few:

• Andrew gets in the drawers and get a trash bag and tries to put it in the trash can (this will come in handy as soon as he can master that)


• I love how he says, "mom, mom, mom" non-stop.


• No matter what Andrew is doing he always takes a time out to come give me a hug every 15 minutes or so.


• He will go get a diaper for me when i tell him he needs a diaper change.


• He is so cute when he does "roll, it and toss it in the oven" when we play patty-cake.


• The look on his face is priceless when he hears daddy walk through the door.


• He laughs at me and all my weirdness.


• when you go in his room when he wakes up and watch him he will be playing with his bear or clapping but he is so cute to just watch before he realizes you are there and jumps up and puts his arms out for you.


• when we go to the park all he wants to do is play pretend drums on the park bench and is not interested in the swing or slide.


• randomly he will just get down and cuddle my feet, weird i know..but its funny!
• He claps for himself when he has done something good.


• yesterday when we went for a walk it took us over a half n hour to get to the end of the driveway because he was bending over and touching every crack, rock, leaf, stick, etc he saw

Andrew is such a joy and a happy baby. He makes me smile constantly and he has the cutest personality (he gets that from me)! I am so happy I got to be his mom. Happy First Birthday Andrew Logan.
