What a day...everyday seems so long but yet goes by so fast. So on day 3 i was a little selfish. We were only 2 hours away from Kirtland, Ohio so i asked Franco if we could swing over there before we headed to the childrens things in Cleveland. Samuel had stayed with us at the hotel the night before so we got up, had breakfast and headed out. As i mentioned already it was a little over a 2 hours drive. We stopped and got Samuel a Spider-Man coloring book and some mini M & M's..holy cow he was soo good in the car.

Never heard a peep from him as he was carefully studying all the cool pages of that book.
First thing we did when we went to Kirtland was visit the Temple.
The "Community of Christ" has ownership and gave us a tour of the temple, its uses, history etc. It was neat to be in a place with so much history. But believe it or not the most amazing part came when we went over to the churchs property and watched a movie and took a tour of the Newel K Whitney Store
and home. I can attest that the second you walked on those grounds the spirit was so strong. We had our own little privte tour from Elder Hayward. He walked us through the rooms of each location. He let us in on so many facts and spiritual experiences that happened in every room. Oh my gosh i can go on about this experience. Needless to say after feeling the burn of the spirit we left that area so uplifted and fulfilled! Poor Samuel though..because we took all the tours and talked so much with the missionaries there by the time we left it was a little past 3 pm. All the childrens museums closed at 5.
