Sleep Training Night 2

Surely tonight would be better I thought. Andrews second nap of the day was an hour shorter then usual so by 6 pm he was so tired so we started our night time routine at 6 instead of 6:30. By 6:30 Andrew was fast asleep. I hate going to bed having no idea what to expect. That is how the last few months had been. I had no idea when i would awaken by Andrew so i almost hated going to bed. But...tonight he slept all the way until 1:45 am. He woke up, i changed him and said night-night with a kiss. I heard him cry but i found myself drifting in and out of sleep. Franco had gotten up because he couldnt sleep anymore so when he climbed back in bed at 4 am i was like, is andrew ok? did he go to sleep? how long did he cry? Franco said he only cried for about an hour!!! Wahooo go Andrew! He is catching on. Andrew then woke up at 6 and i got him out of bed, fed him a bottle, and when i laid him down fully awake in his crib he didnt cry at all and was fast asleep and woke up at 9 am for the day!!!! He is doing so well. He takes naps great still even without his pacifier. What a good boy. I hope tonight is better and eventually I hope he is getting the sleep he needs so he can grow and develop and so mommy can actually get a full night of sleep!

Yeah Ang! I am so proud of you. Chad lets Lily cry herself to sleep at night and it makes me so sad. I alway end up going in there and rocking her. I know I was tougher with Spencer cause he didn't sleep as well as Lily, but since she sleeps through the night I figure I can rock her to sleep. If she didn't sleep thru the night I probably wouldn't be so willing. Keep it. Up he will finally be sleeping thru the night when you find out you're 4 months prego. Ha ha.

Buffalo, Good for you, it will be easier the more kids you get because you are just plain exhausted that you don't have time to spend all that time with them to get them to sleep. I was like that with Emari but when Ella came along I couldn't and it was so much nicer because she just wanted to be laid in her crib and left alone and so does Wyatt. Now I just have to work on the binky thing with Wyatt and he will be good to go.

I've decided to give up on sleep for a few years... Brooks is still a horrible sleeper... I'm proud of you for tackling this... looks like you are making some great progress!! Good job little Andrew! :)
