Proud to be an American!!!!
I am so proud of my hubby!! Franco has been in the United States about 14 years as a legal resident. Only recently did we start talking about him becoming an actual citizen of the United States. We paid the money, Franco did the application, took the test, went to the interview and passed with flying colors. He was informed a few weeks ago that on January 14th he would be sworn in as a Citizen of the good ole USA!!!! He was excited!! Andrew and I went and enjoyed the ceremony. Afterwards Franco went snowboarding up in Park City which was perfect because i had planned a suprise party for him that evening...well..Franco came back home a few hours too early and walked in while i was doing all the preparations! It turned out fine though and when it was all done and people started arriving he enjoyed himself. Thanks to friends and family for coming over to show your love and support for Franco. We had a great day..and when it was all over it was nice to cuddle up with my new American husband! Congrats sweetie! FYI the pics of him taking the oath are not that great because it was all dark in the auditorium and Franco was way in the back. The judge let us go on stage to take the pics of them taking the oath but franco was so far..And..for his party i was enjoying chatting with everyone so i didnt grab my camera and take pictures of Franco or of all of our guests..dang it!
