Recap of September

 Andrew started school and LOVES it! I am so impressed with the program, curriculum, teachers etc. Andrew is blossoming and I love all the many things he learns everyday.

 September is a great month for visitors. Here is mamma moose and her 2 babies. We had them visit frequently for about 2 months.

 My precious little girl! Oh how I love her. Her personality is similar to mine (:) ) and she is the happiest thing on earth. Her language skills are amazing and she is quite the chatter box.

 September we went to the Utah State Fair!! It was really fun! We met the Lane's there then we went to Tucano's afterwards for some yummy lunch! The kids loved being out and we loved being with daddy.

 September was also sad because on September 11th we said good-bye to Franco's mom until January 2013 :( We have sure missed her.

happy Birthday to my sweet Addy Raye! She is such a girl and very opinionated. She knows what she wants.  Addyson is the best eater. She will eat anything and everything. Addyson loves to play with Andrew. they wrestle, play horsie and Addy holds on to Andrew as the poor boy is trying to get things done. Addy will play with cars, trucks, trains and anything else Andrew is playing with just to be by his side. Addyson loves her daddy and loves to go bye-bye. She is kind of shy but when it comes down to it she is more brave and curious then shy. We haven't had a problem at all with her when we leave her with sitters or in a new environment. Addyson still has her darn paci and drinks formula. The Dr. things she is lactose intolerant or she cant digest the protein in milk, we are not quite sure yet. If she has anything milk based she has a blow-out immediately and her skin breaks out and she itches non-stop. Addyson is very lovely, and so sweet to mommy and daddy. She is definitely our little princess. We love our Addyson Raye and are so glad she is in our family.

August-Aquarium

This summer we had a calendar full of outings and fun play dates! Our little playgroup kept us busy all summer. One of the last outings we did was the Living Planet Aquarium. New this year is the Penguin Encounter. The kids really enjoyed this attraction. Addy loved seeing all the fish. What a fun summer we had. We enjoyed spending time with our friends! And, we miss them all dearly.

We're pregnant!! and other things going on :)

So an update! I am pregnant!!!! Great timing I know! We sold our house in about 30 days plus which was a total miracle and a surprise. So, we were homeless before we planned on it. Here we are in Park City enjoying the cool weather and wondering where to move to now. Right when we were moving Franco got a new job as well. He LOVES it and so that makes me happy. We will have this little guy up here and then figure out where we want to permanently put our roots for the long haul now. Our motto for the moment is to be still and go when and where we feel we are supposed to. If the Lord is guiding us we cant go wrong :)
BUT we are totally, completely, super, excited for a boy!!! I thought 99.9% sure it was a girl but Franco wanted a boy so bad I HOPED it was a boy for his sake but I thought in the back of my mind no way. HAPPINESS all around us here in the DeMelo household. OH PS. Due Date is February 23, 2012.

Happy Fathers Day (better late then never)

Fathers Day came and went! This year my husband was treated to his favorite place to eat, Tucano's along with some good friend of ours. This year at Tucano's the dads got a memorabilia glass and everyone got a yummy piece of pie! I also gave him a little photo book with pictures of all of his kids he can put in his wallet! Easier then carrying around multiple pictures!

Before our lunch outing daddy was wearing his Brazil jersey and put Andrews on to to run some errands. Addyson saw this and immediately went and got the other shirt of Andrews. She just cant be left out of anything. I'm not sure how Franco is ever going to take Andrew on a daddy/son outing because Addyson always wants to be right there! Anyway, I decided to snap some pictures while they were all dressed alike.



My kids are so blessed to have such an amazing hands on dad. Franco is everything I wanted in a father for my kids. He comes home and immediately they are all over him and he actually takes the time to reciprocate the love, hugs and listen to the happenings of the day. He plays with them every night and he is the sucker who always agrees to massage Andrews back while he falls asleep. On weekends when he runs errands he glady takes both kids so he gets his time with them and so I can have some moments of peace. He never says no when I want a weekend getaway and I am never worried about them while I am gone because they are in great hands with daddy.
Franco is very affectionate with his kids. I think this is why Andrew and Addyson are both such loving kids. They are drowned with kisses and hugs on a daily basis. I am so grateful for Franco and his example to our kids. On Sunday's Andrew likes to wear a tie just like daddy does to church. My children have been given one of the best dads around and I am so happy for them! Happy Fathers Day Love!
