Build-a-bear, birthday party, and Oreo's

So this morning as i was cleaning up after the big birthday bash, i moved the chairs away from the table. Well, Andrew had other ideas for the chair. He pulled it to the pantry and dug through the boxes and food to find the Oreo's. Thanks to daddy and grandpa he is an Oreo freak. So i see him with an Oreo hanging out of his mouth and his hand in the Oreo package to fill his other hands. What a stinker. Funny thing is he will take a bite or two out of each Oreo then leave it on the floor. The other picture was him taking his temperature for the day. I have been doing this every morning for the last week, funny now he likes to do it himself. Now if i could only train him to do the laundry, the dishes, and clean up!!! :)
Yesterday since it was my first time at the mall in 2 years i was living it up. After shopping for Franco's presents and a stop at Orange Julius for a strawberry Julius we stopped by Build-a-bear so Andrew could build his own animal. He chose a doggie because i had built him a bear when he was born, and aunt Kristy had recently gotten him a monkey, so doggie was the only animal left he knew. His favorite part was when they stuffed the bear. Andrew sat and watched the filling go around and round. in fact after he was done he watched as everyone filled their bears, that is how intrigued he was. His second favorite part was giving the bear an "air bath". What fun to go with him and experience this. I am a build a bear freak and have 5 i have made through out the years. I am glad Andrew enjoys it as much as i do. We also got his doggy a stroller so he could push it around, which he has loved!!!!

Franco told me on Sunday that he was throwing himself a birthday party on Wednesday for his 36th birthday. He went all out. We had a friend make sushi and Franco made the rest of the goodies which you will see listed below. For dessert we had a strawberry cake, a double fudge chocolate cake, and cupcakes for the smaller guests. We planned for about 20 guests and i guess we over cooked because holy cow we had SO MANY left overs. It looked like no one ate but everyone assured us that they had tons of food and were all stuffed. I personally enjoyed the company of all of our friends. The final visitors took off a little before 10 pm. Way to go Franco, you threw a great party. Thank you to all of our friends for stopping by, coming to eat, or just hanging out. For Franco's birthday i got him a weeks worth of American Eagle Shirts, and a Volcom shirt, and some new cologne. Today for his birthday I am going to take his church suits to the cleaners..ahh nice me huh!

The Chef

Franco ready to let the guests eat. He made Steak, chicken, hot dogs for the kiddos, colossimo sausages, shrimp, and crab legs. I did the corn on the cob, and salad.

Nice and clean and ready to go..

The After... Some peeps when they sang happy Birthday
Franco when he was done opening his gifts.

2 years since you hit the mall? REALLY? I am not there often, but wow! Build-A-Bear is fun and the kids LOVE it. I just love that Franco wanted to throw himself a party. That is so cool. Looks like a fun time all around.

Now I am craving OREOS!
