This picture describes our weekend get-a-way, fun but a few water puddles!! This weekend we got a villa at the Park City Mountain Marriott Resort along with one of my friends, her boyfriend, and little boy. However, go figure what was supposed to be a family thing ended up being an Ang and Andrew thing with my friends. Franco had a major project going on at work and literally was there from 4:30 am Thursday morning until this afternoon about 4:30 pm when i got home he decided he was going to come home for the evening. I cant blame him for ruining the weekend because work is work right, and i know he wanted to be with us..but..it turned out to be a good weekend anyway. So this Marriott Villa was very nice and so roomy. Andrew and I had a huge king size fluffy bed with a bathtub that would fit like 4 adults. Friday night we went up and got acquainted with the place and Deanna and Justin came up late that night. In the morning we got up and made a nice yummy breakfast and then went walking around, had lunch, watched a movie while the kids slept, and then our good buddy Amy and her family showed up with the tickets to all the fun rides, and the dinner & chocolate pie compliments of my father! Thanks to Amy's hubby Jamie for cooking the spaghetti noodles, bread, and all the different kids meals we asked him to make to satisfy each child. For dessert oh my gosh..well you will see in a picture below. We had two kinds of ice cream, hot fudge, whip cream, and choc. pie..when we were done with that munched on popcorn. :) Can I tell you how much i enjoy being around my friends. After missing Franco terribly i decided that it was actually a perfect weekend to have to work 24/4 because i was pre-occupied and not at home, lonely and missing him. Me and my Dixie buds played Phase 10 for like 4 hours and of course Amy won, but not point wise I don't think. The kids played amazing together and Andrew never cried..can you believe it AND earlier in the day when we were walking around he actually PREFERRED to hold Deanna's hand over mine. I was in shock. This is my little boy who around the house has to hold me hand and follow me everywhere that is how attached he is. So cute, when we put on a movie for the kids so we could play our game i laid a blanket and pillow on the ground and Andrew laid there and watched the movie too..(well as much as a toddler can) but he was so entertained by the kids and the other 2 boys close to his age that he didn't even care where I was! Amazing!!
So now we are home, which makes me happy because I cant stand being away from my husband, but I am sad because that means that the week has to start over and my fun weekend came to an end!! :(

This kinda reminds me of your 13th birthday. I wish you could blog some pictures of that. I am glad you had a fun time! Franco did amazing this weekend and it will be worth the effort in the long run. We were really getting the Ox out of the mire today. Tell Franco how much his father in law loves and appreciates him. He is my hero! There will be more weekend getaways for you and Franco in the future I promise.
Sounds like fun. I'm so jealous that Andrew wanted to hold Deanna's hand. You need to bring him over here. I'm sure after some time he will like being with Spencer and Lily (and eventually give me some loves too:)
Lets get together soon. I want to do one last Hoo-rah before I pop this baby out in 23 days!
Ang as always thanks for the laughs and some more good times!!! I always leave with a sideache after hanging out with you and Deanna. By the way I hurt my back on that coaster ride, but I'll get over it and do it again someday, but first I want to try that zipline thing. By some miracle I didn't die of heartburn from the firey spaghetti, I think maybe that huge heap of icecream and pie put the fire out. And no I did not cheat on the points I really played fair and square and I WON!!!
How fun. Weekends are always too fast!
