Mom's Day

Happy Mothers Day to all you wonderful Mothers out there. I am so glad Mother's Day is on a Sunday because it brings the more spiritual side into reflecting on this wonderful day. :)

Isn't my mother beautiful! I know you are asking which one in the picture is her..she is the wonderful woman on the right in the white and red. I was thinking of telling you all how much I love my mom and all of the reasons but i think I have narrowed it down to this: My mother lives as a righteous disciple of the Savior. She is kind, loving, compassionate, caring, humble..and I could go on and on. My whole life she has smiled from morning to night as she just did whatever it took to be our mom (did i mention there are 11 of us). I was told my little sister Cindy gave a talk at church today about my mom and she said that she is just happy. Happiness is a word everyone i know would use to describe my mother, and Cindy nailed it on the head when she said it was because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that makes her happy. I am grateful for a righteous mother who taught me right from wrong. Of course there are those teenage years when I thought i was the all-knowledgeable one but i was proven wrong as i got older and wised up. Thank you mom for being all of our rocks when we were not able to find solid ground.
