We had a pre-New Years Eve party at the Cross' house. It's a Sushi party which makes Franco very very very happy!!! So that was way fun. Then New Years Eve we had a party for the Youth. I love being with the youth so I figured what a great way to ring in the New Year! I should have taken a picture of the food table! Yum...we had all sorts of yummy treats and 6 boxes of pizza which were gone by the end of the night! We had a total of about 18 youth and 11 adults, so great turn out. We played games like dodge ball, charades, and then some of the boys wanted to play basketball and the girls played a game from the 80's call Heartthrob.. At 10 pm we called it a night so the kids could get home to hang with their families before midnight & Franco & I put our kids to bed and got a sitter and went on a date! We went and saw True Grit. It was pretty good. The movie didn't get over until 12:30 am and in the middle of the movie a lady yelled "Happy New Year". Man if you don't like crowds New years Eve is a perfect night to go to a movie. I think there were a whole 5 couples in the theater! I hope everyone had a wonderful NYE and are enjoying 2011 so far!
