Happy Birthday Princess!

Saturday we had our "You're Brazilian, Happy 1st Birthday" party. It is Brazilian tradition to have a huge celebration to celebrate that the child has made it through the first year. For Addyson's theme I picked a diva type theme with zebra print and bright pink. Just in case this is my only girl I had to do diva and pink!



I bought, painted, and tied ribbon on all the photo frames I bought to match the theme. I think they turned out cute!!

For entertainment we had a balloon artist who did an amazing job..if you are looking for an extremely talented balloon artist contact him, Tyler Camp 832-260-6634 Balloon Twisters. We also had a face painter who again was amazingly talented..Her Name is Athena and here is her website http://www.facepaintingillusions.blogspot.com/. The kids and adults enjoyed getting their face painted... And of course we had to have 2 bounce houses for all the kiddos!My friend Amy made her cake and brownies. The cake was beautiful! Go Amy!


For the food we did a dessert bar! We had a chocolate fountain with your basics strawberries, cookies, bananas, crackers, gummy bears, rice crispy treats, etc to dip but I also figured our actual candy table could be used to dip whatever they wanted.
We also did a Brazilian food table and I didn't get a picture of that :( His mom had ordered and made several things like empanadas, these Brazilian cheese things, another fried potatoes thing, chicken sandwiches, chicken salad tarts, and a lemon tart. Sorry I am not familiar with the actual names of these things :)
Over all it was a very successful party. I had a blast I think because I got to see friends that I hadn't seen in a while and I just like people overall so it was a blast to chat with anyone and everyone!
