Halo & UFC Night/ Discovery Gateway

Saturday night Franco hosted another UFC fight here at our house. I don't mind this at all. He creates some good food and the house is spotless before and after! I was gone all day at a baby shower then I met my college girlfriends for some yummy lunch, dessert, and girl time! I love you ladies. They are great. 15 years later after college we are all still as tight as ever. I enjoyed my time out. Franco took Samuel and Andrew to the zoo with his buddy Josh and Andrew's girlfriend Joplin earlier in the afternoon. What a husband...he does everything!
Before the big fight though a few guys came over to play Halo 3. I returned home to find my furniture rearranged and 3 big screen TV's set up, all the guys were playing each other online. Funny this went on for hours until the fight started at 8 pm. Samuel of course loved it and Andrew was napping so at least the guys got in a few hours of game time with out a toddler around.
Franco took a week off work last week when Samuel came here. Sadly he goes back on Monday and yet again I am back to kid duty. It was so nice to have him home. Franco did the meals, the cleaning, and entertained the kids. I got a nice break, which is nice being 36 weeks prego. Wish he could get paid to be home full time with me! :)
We have a few yearly passes to things around Salt Lake, Discovery Gateway being one of them. I prefer the air conditioned fun places :) Here are the kids in the helicopter on the top floor. Franco even enjoyed the helicopter. Franco also took Samuel shooting, fishing, swimming, to Kangaroo Zoo, to Sugar House park, fed the ducks, and lots of motorcycle rides. Lets see if i can entertain him as well the next few weeks.
Saturday all day I was cramping on and off. Around 4:30 pm they hit really hard and were so intense. I came right home and laid down. I was confused and scared. 4 weeks early is not like me, so i didn't think it was labor but I didn't quite know what the pain was. After enduring it for about 4 hours I enlisted the knowledge of my sister Tami. She quickly told me to drink lots of water, take Tylenol, and lay on my left side. I did that..and within 30 minutes the intense pulling and cramping feeling went away. However all through the night i would get smaller ones and this morning it started all over again and my tummy is so sore. Tami informed me that this gets to be the norm as my body prepares me for birth..oh great. I never had anything like this with Andrew so this is all new to me. Guess I will try to stay off my feet, well as much as I can while entertaining kids and being a wife, homemaker, and my other roles. Ahh the joys of pregnancy and birth!!
So, Amy...there is my update. Sorry to take forever but I have been relaxing this week and just trying to enjoy life.
