A Night Out & a bridal shower

Andrew loves seeing his grandpa, and Franco & I like hanging with my dad too! Since my mom is out of town we met my dad at Famous Dave's for dinner. It was delicious, this seems to be my dads favorite place because that always seems to be the meeting point when we get together. After dinner we headed over to Cold Stone for yummy dessert. I love this picture (above) because this is so typical. Franco and dad talk non-stop about business, life, or whatever. I am so grateful though my dad loves my hubby so much, he even calls him son. Ahh...Family is amazing. When my parents are out of town I definitely feel their presence missing, weird huh!! Oh well. Dad we loved spending a few hours with you. Next time we will let Franco do the cooking!

In other daily adventures. Saturday morning I drove an hour and picked up my good friend Amy, then we drove another hour to Deanna's wedding shower!! Wahoo. We are so excited and happy for Deanna. Amy and I gave her a naughty basket full of goodies, she knew we were good for some great presents!!!! i love being with these girls and cant wait for Deanna's wedding when the whole Dixie College gang will be together to celebrate with Deanna. Also, I have to give props to my hubby who had Andrew for almost 7 hours while I drove to the shower, had fun at the shower, then drove home. When I got home he wasn't even frazzled or cared that he had Andrew all day long. What a guy!
