Just another day at work..

Franco had to fly to the fires in California Monday morning because one of his clients, the Monterey County Emergency Services, Satellite was not finding the signal in space or something like that (sorry all, I am not too good at the actual terminology). Anyway, this emergency response unit was fighting the fires so obviously they needed thier equipment to work. Franco saved the day, the contract, the people, and everything else again. He got the satellite talking to the satellite in space and all is well.

As you can see in the pictures the satellites are stowed in the trailer then when they need them they pop up (Angela Terminology right there :) ), or the emergency trailer has a satellite on top of it. All last weekend Franco was getting call after call from these people so finally he said you know what I will come out on Monday. While he was there he took some pics of the camp ground where the firefighters are sleeping and of the hazy California air. He said they told him that the fire where he is at is only 5% contained. Scary!! I think we can even smell the fire from here.

Go baby!! Such a genuis, or just really good at computer stuff!!!! I hate when he leaves and he is always nervous that he wont be able to get the satellites locked into place but he always does it of course. In case you all are wondering, yes he does all of the moving of the satellite and stuff from his laptop here in Utah but sometimes the things are not hooked up right or other stuff that requires Franco to actually go look at the connections and stuff. I am still not quite sure what exactly he does but I appreciate his pay check because I can buy brownie mix, opps i mean i can buy apples, and other fruit! :)
