Happy Birthday Robann.

Francos daughter turned 12 this past week and we had them this weekend so I decided to take Robann out for a little step mom -n- daughter time. I figured since she is 12 and becoming a young women it was time to show her he joys of womanhood..atleast my joys!!! We first went and got manicures and pedicures. It was cute we were sitting next to each other while we were getting our pedicures (yes joy, i treated myself too!) and Robann was holding my hand and beaming. When i walked in I announced that it was her birthday and the guy who did her feet and hand was so nice and good with her. When we left everyone kept saying, "Happy Birthday", the guy even put little flowers all over her toes and finger nails and didnt charge me the usual $3 for each flower..how sweet huh! By the time we were done Robann was like "I think you should take me to go eat." So, because we were on a time crunch and i still had other things to do with her I took her to sonic so we could hang out and chat in the car but still get fast food to hurry and go about our day. Next i took her to Old Navy to find an easter outfit (NOTE: i am so dissapointed with Old Navy, i found nothing modest for her at all even in the little girl section. All the skirts were way to short and all the dresses were sleeveless..RRRRRRR) Anyway, she shopped like a pro and grabbed tons of shirts to try on. Even though a few were the same kind just different colors she insisted on trying on each color just to see what it looked like. I also introduced her to "layering" and bought her a few tank tops to go under all those low cut shirts they have out now! She loved it and felt like a queen trying on all these clothes. Last when our time had already run out we headed to wal-mart! Hello...what is a birthday without Wal-mart! hahahahahah. Actually we had to pick up her birthday cake for the big family easter party and when we got home Franco was taking the girls to a Birthday party of one of our neighbors so I had to grab some presents too! It was fun to be with her and chat about girly things. I could tell by the huge smile pasted on her face, the constant talking, and the bursts of giggles that she enjoyed the afternoon too! Happy Birthday to you Robann!

Oh how fun. I need a pedicure so bad. The last one I got was with you. How pathetic is that. I blame it on time. I'm glad you two had fun.
