Oh the Tasks I take on....

So..i woke up Monday morning and took a good look at my room and was depressed. I hate the color. (no offense to anyone who may have it.) The lady before us i swear mixed colors..our is this nasty teal , the girls room is the brightest green on earth..but the rest of the house was left white..weird lady. Well, when we moved in we painted the whole house inside..i don't like white walls :) Except for our room..which brings me back to this whole huge project i took on. So i looked around my room and thought..you know this is not a relaxing haven..I have always wanted a bedroom that I can go in and just feel like its my get-a-way! So Andrew and I ventured out to Lowe's (i prefer home depot but lowes was closer to where we were) with the credit card that is supposed to be untouchable and looked at samples. I already had a color in mind because for Christmas i picked out this new bedspread..so..i just did it. I went bold, different, and I love it!!!!
So here are the pictures of my process:

Step 1: (The before color)

Step 2: (PRIMING..oh I hated that)

A peek of the color...now you are going to think it is orange..which it is but oh my gosh..when it dried it was this deep harvest orange...

And what the room ended up looking like with everything......

You will have to wait until i clean it, put the bedspread on, make it "Angela's Haven" then i will post pictures. I was so worried when i started covering all the walls with this but honestly it feels warmer in the room and so cozy. Franco wanted Sage Green..sorry love..this color is close though.. hahah LOL! Until my task is complete....

I swore I commented on this one but I'm not seeing it, maybe I was just thinking outloud...but I think it looks great!Easily a color you can accessorize and make warm for winter or mix cool colors for summer. We have that same blue in our room but it's an accent wall, don't know if I could deal with the entire room.Good job!
